Covid - 19 Update: 07 June 2021

On the 8th of June we enter Phase 2 of our phased transition with all students attending the college building in a full-time timetable but still in bubbles.

Thank you very much again for all your constant support during this period, especially for your collaboration during remote learning. THANK YOU!

We are all looking forward to having all students back to the college building.  This is going to be a big change for everyone as we have not had that since March 2020!

We have been putting a lot of work to insure that all students are safe during this process, transport is arranged correctly and students are prepared for that change.

Please do not hesitate to contact the college if you have any questions or concerns about Phase 2.

The college is a new educational provision for young people aged 19-25 years with special educational needs, we are proud to be the first college in the borough to provide Employment and Supported Living Provision for these young people.

At TMTC we focus our efforts into preparing all our young people for Independent Living and preparing them for Work.

Our personalised study programmes enable learners who have learning difficulties and learning disabilities to develop the living skills they need to participate as citizens within the community and the skills they need to participate within the workplace.

The British Association of Supported Employment (BASE) have highlighted that the Department for Work and Pensions statistics show only 7% of adults with learning disabilities and learning difficulties are in any form of employment nationally.

At TMTC we believe that opportunities for Employment and Supported Living can only work when we listen to the young person’s voice. We match the study programmes to the young adults’ aspirations and outcomes that are set out in their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Our young people are valued members of the community, both within the college and in the borough of Lambeth.

Unlocking Potential, everyone’s future counts.
